THE WEDDING OF FIONNUALA & THOMAS

Fionnuala & Thomas are both from a small village in east Galway called Willlamstown. Both houses were only a couple of miles apart, so this allowed me to pop over to Thomas’s home to capture a few shots of the lads getting in the zone for the day ahead, before I headed back to Fionnuala’s house for the rest of the bridal preprations.

The day itself was a bit dull with plenty of wind and a bit of rain so we had made the decision to go straight to the Galway Bay Hotel after the ceremony, But just as we were passing Tuam the weather decided to clear briefly so we diverted to Knockma for a quick stop to grab a few outdoor pics before getting back into the warmth of the cars and headed for Galway.

The reception was held at the beautiful as ever Galway Bay hotel. As it was a December wedding, the Christmas decorations were on show and it really added to the atmosphere. I couldn’t have asked for a happier couple to work with. Both Fionnuala & Thomas together with their guests looked like they were having a great time & the weather definitely didn’t dampen the spirits.
